According the Bulgarian law land on Bulgarian territory cannot be own by foreign citizens as a private owner or investors, BUT if they have set up a company or joint venture with existing local companies they will acquire the right to own as much land,along with the buildings on it,as they wish.
The procedures of buying property in Bulgaria is as follow:
- after reviewing our website and your are quite sure that the property you are looking for is found you need to contact us to reserve the property
- when we receive your reservation along with 10% of the price (non refundable if you pull out of the deal) all the documents will be double checked by our lawyers and you will be very welcome to sign a preliminary contract
- the next step-to set up a company,usually that's a Limited Liability Company(LTD.),will be done by a professional lawyer
- after the company is formed we will arrange an appointment with a notary for you to close the deal
- the deal could be considered as closed after the notary issue the Title deed and the buyer has been done the final payment to the seller(usually it happens in the same day)
For buying apartment in Bulgaria you don't need to set up a company.
